A wild brawl involving a number of mothers and their teenage sons inside a western Sydney shopping centre has been caught on camera.
Video of the incident shows around a dozen people involved in the fight inside a St George Bank in Bankstown Central on Monday afternoon.
Punches are seen being thrown, with some of the women pulling others’ hair.
One woman is seen falling to the ground before others jump on top of her and begin hitting her.
Witnesses said they heard one woman shout “don’t touch my son” while punches were being swung.
“I was hearing bad screaming and when I looked up, there were a million people and then two women fighting together,” Haya Tallawi told 9 News.
NSW Police confirmed officers were called to the shopping centre on North Terrace at around 3:30pm after reports of the brawl.
“A 52-year-old woman sustained an injury to her lip during the incident,” a police spokesperson said.
“She was taken to Bankstown Hospital for treatment.”
Several people allegedly involved in the incident left the scene after officers arrived.
NSW Police are urging those with information, including those with video of the brawl, to come forward while they investigate.
